OVERVIEW
One of the first projects I contributed on for GIMMWorks, this application was commissioned by multiple states' Fish and Game Departments to create a virtual training aid for classroom sessions of hunting certification. While no ways meant to replace classroom teaching by professionals, this application features widely varied hunting scenarios where different safe hunting lessons are taught while the user hunts a wild animal. The application also features a firearm training tutorial, to help users become more acquainted with virtual reality firearms.

One of my first roles within a larger studio team, I quickly became familiar production pipelines, standups, and uses of software like Git for version control. Although daunting at first, I was eager and asking where I could help out and assist others who were building out core gameplay loops or working on UI implementation. This project was an incredibly fortunate experience that served as a stepping stone for when I became a lead on other applications. What I constructed on this project are:
Level Design for most of the Hunting Scenarios using Unity Terrain
UI Implementation and Bug-fixing
General C# Scripting in Unity
VR Performance Optimization using Unity Profiler
Writing, Recording, Mixing, and Implementing Narration and Player Instructions
